Annual Dinner Surprise Location Change
Our 2019 Annual Dinner was scheduled for Bertucci’s in Melville. However, with less than 1 week notice we were told the restaurant was closing and could not host our event. Anita Risener pulled a rabbit out of a hat and was able work with her niece to get us into the Tiki Joe’s Restaurant (formerly Captree Cove) at the Captree Boat Basin in Bayshore.
37 LICCSC members had a wonderful dinner at Captee Cove on Saturday, April 27. The food and service was very good and the scenery was awesome! The restaurant was right on the water so we had stunning waterviews in every direction. We had a fun night with 18 raffle prizes and a photos show of the past season’s trips. We hope to have the dinner in the same place next season. Thanks to Anita Risener and her annual dinner committee (Jan Brenner and Ellie Perlman) for all their efforts to make the dinner a big success!
