Fall Foliage Hike at Blydenburgh County Park
October 22 @ 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM EDT
One of my favorite places to hike on L.I. is around Stump Pond in Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown. It is especially beautiful in the fall with the colors reflecting on the water.
What: A 5.7 mile hike around Stump pond at a moderate pace.
When: Thursday, October 22 – 10:30
Where: Meet at the “Blydenburgh Historic District” at the north end of the park, at the end of New Mill Rd.
We will meet in the parking lot. There are Eco-bathrooms adjacent. Please wear a mask when we gather.
Bring water and a snack or lunch and Walking sticks if you have them. Hiking shoes are recommended as some sections may be wet and there are some short hills.
We’ll go in light rain. Heavy rain cancels. Please rsvp to Linda Ilan at email@example.com
